Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your account in Gayby, the family planning app for iOS, Android, and the web, developed by Gayby LLC.

HOW TO DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT

  1. Sign in to Gayby in the app or at app.gayby.com.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account at the bottom, then type DELETE MY ACCOUNT to confirm.

Your account is scheduled for deletion and is permanently deleted 72 hours later. We email you (or text you, if we have no email address for you) to confirm. If you change your mind during those 72 hours, sign back in and tap Cancel deletion in Settings.

WHAT IS DELETED

When the 72 hours are up, we permanently delete:

  • Your profile and account details
  • Your photos and your verification video
  • Your conversations, including the messages and photos in them, for both you and the people you talked to
  • Likes, passes, blocks, and profile views, both sent and received
  • Reports you made and reports made about you
  • Your notification history and preferences, and your match scores

WHAT IS NOT DELETED

  • Subscriptions bought through Apple or Google. Deleting your account does not cancel them. Cancel in the App Store or Google Play subscription settings on your device, or you may continue to be charged.
  • Gayby+ bought on the web. Cancel it before you delete your account, in Settings, Manage Subscription.
  • Payment records kept by Apple, Google, or Stripe, which they hold under their own policies.

CAN'T SIGN IN?

Email us at [email protected] from the email address on your account, or include the phone number you signed up with, and ask us to delete your account. We may ask you to confirm it is yours.
