Gayby helps adults exploring family building discover and communicate with one another. Using Gayby does not establish that another member is safe, truthful, medically suitable, or legally eligible for an arrangement. Please read these limits before sharing sensitive information or taking steps toward conception, donation, surrogacy, or co-parenting.
A platform with a limited role
Gayby is not a healthcare provider, fertility clinic, tissue or gamete bank, surrogacy or donation agency, adoption agency, law firm, or mental-health provider. Discovery tools, suggested profiles, and general information are not professional recommendations. Gayby is not a party to agreements between members and does not supervise their arrangements or procedures.
Screening and professional advice
Unless Gayby expressly describes a particular verification process where offered, Gayby does not perform background, identity, medical, genetic, fertility, or psychological screening or verify member statements. Moderating a photograph or biography is not screening a person. Any described verification has only its stated scope and does not guarantee safety or suitability.
Obtain independent advice from appropriately licensed medical professionals and your own qualified attorney before making an arrangement. Relevant laws and requirements depend on the circumstances and locations involved. A private agreement may not determine parentage, custody, support, or enforceability as the parties expect. Gayby does not handle reproductive material, provide medical procedures, or track a donor’s number of donations or offspring.
No promised outcome
Gayby does not guarantee a match, agreement, conception, pregnancy, live birth, or particular legal or family outcome. Online and in-person interactions involve risks, including misrepresentation, fraud, coercion, physical or emotional harm, health risks, and legal disputes. Use independent screening and professional support appropriate to your circumstances.
Protect private information
Members must comply with the Terms’ confidentiality rules, including restrictions on screenshots, recordings, and disclosure of another member’s identity, conversations, or sensitive information. Gayby cannot guarantee that another person will comply or prevent every unauthorized copy. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Authorized personnel may access message content only when reasonably necessary to investigate a report, enforce the Terms of Use, comply with law, or protect users or the Service.
Report concerns through the in-app reporting function or [email protected]. The Service is not an emergency service. If you face an immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service.
Your rights remain protected
This notice summarizes the platform’s limits and should be read with the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. It does not waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived, excuse Gayby’s legal obligations, or authorize processing of sensitive information without any consent or authorization required by law.
